Cannich Woodland Camping<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bring your own bed and tent for this weekend or book a camping pod (sleeping for 3).  We have booked 2 pods, one of which has been taken and one is available for men.
If you want an electric hookup, hard standing or a pod, you need to book in advance quoting SCHC. All levels of walking and cycling are possible. Glen Strathfarrar and Glen Affric are a short drive away and as an added incentive, the campsite has a cafe on site.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We are planning a camping\/campervan trip to Shetland to coincide with midsummer. We will stay in 4 different locations throughout the week (South Mainland, Northwest Mainland, Unst and Bressay) to allow easy access to the whole of Shetland, We will probably take bikes to aid this access and hopefully will have a chance to visit some of the smaller islands. Shetland is the most stunning of locations, so if you haven\u2019t been before, now is your chance!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Naismith Hut, Elphin, Sutherland<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some places have been booked at this SMC hut (15 miles north of Ullapool), which we have used before. Although small, the hut is in a spectacular location for the northern peaks of Cul Mor, Cul Beag, Canisp, Breabag, Ben More Assynt and Conival (among others!). Given the distance from Central Scotland for most people, our booking is for 3 nights (arriving Friday pm and departing Monday). The cost of the hut accommodation will be in the region of \u00a375 each for the 3 nights. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

18 – 20 September 2026
AGM Meet
Cairngorm Christian Centre, Kincraig<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year we are heading back to the Cairngorm Christian Centre for our AGM. The Centre provides an ideal location for both an AGM and access to the Cairngorms for good hillwalking. We have booked 15 places for the Meet, and the cost will be \u00a364 per person for the weekend. Campervans will be charged at \u00a350 for the weekend. Places must be confirmed by 7th August, so please ensure that you book AND pay by that date.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This mountaineering hut is new for SCHC.  It has an interesting history as a Police Office, with the cell now being the ladies\u2019 shower!!   Interested\u2026??? More details to come. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n
