We stay at a variety of places including youth hostels, independent hostels, club huts and chalets/cottages. We run weekend and day walks (on a Saturday, or occasionally mid week).
For weekend Meets we normally assemble on the Friday evening. We always walk on Saturdays and on Sundays, some people walk while others go to a local Church; we aim to have a time of informal worship together one evening during the meet.
We aim to provide gender segregated sleeping accommodation but this may not always be possible due to the nature of the accommodation or the presence of other users. Check the situation with the meet contact for the event when booking
Normally, everyone brings their own breakfasts and lunches, but we share a Saturday evening meal, to which you will be invited to contribute.
Dogs are not allowed into any accommodation out of consideration for those with allergies or who are frightened of them. Dogs may be taken on walks provided they do not adversely affect the enjoyment of others.
If members are using alternative accommodation, such as campervans, they will be asked to contribute £5 per night towards the Meet.
