SCHC Membership

You are welcome to come on a couple of meets before you decide whether or not to join.

Anyone over 18 years of age can join. There are two categories of membership:

Ordinary Professing Christians who acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord.
Associate Anyone who is sympathetic to the Christian message but feels unable to sign the declaration of faith. Associates do not vote at AGMs and cannot be committee members.

Membership rates for 2008/9

Standard rate: £18
Discounted rate: £12 (If you are unemployed, a full-time student, retired or employed in full-time Christian work)

Both rates apply to ordinary and associate members. Your membership will last until 31/3/09.

The subscription includes Mountaineering Council of Scotland membership and the benefits to members include

insurance on meets
copy of the Scottish Mountaineer magazine (quarterly).
use of Club huts (on SCHC meets) eg Muir Hut, Inverey; Raeburn Hut, Dalwhinnie; Ling Hut, Torridon.
